Cups/Chalice: The cups symbolize emotions, intuition, and the realm of the unconscious. They represent the fulfillment and abundance of emotional and material desires and wishes. They tell of the power of setting intentions, manifestation and affirmations.
Figure: The figure on the card represents an individual who is content and satisfied. The crossed arms (as opposed to outstretched arms) suggest a sense of self-assurance and stability. Crossed arms also suggest protecting the self in all it’s aspects; physical, psychological, spiritual. It speaks to introspection and self-examination.
Bench: The wooden bench symbolizes a solid foundation and stability. It represents the feelings of safety and security that comes with emotional and material fulfillment.
Arch of Cups: The arch formed by the nine cups represents a sense of completion and fulfillment. It suggests that emotional and/or physical goals have been realized after a time of actively working towards it.
