Focus and Concentration: In order to maintain balance, especially while standing on only one foot, we must concentrate and direct all our attention to the task at hand. We cannot let our attention drift to the distrations or calamity around us. With practice we may be able to eventually maintain balance while acknowledging lifes ups and downs without dropping the ball, but we are not quite there yet.
